I am drawn to narrative, those fleeting instants when something ordinary becomes quite magical.
I approach each piece of art with curiosity, playfulness, and a willingness to surprise. My work blends naïve art, illustration, and textured, stitched mixed media. These artisan snapshots in time are intentionally loose and expressive, alive with spontaneous energy. Each piece offers hints and details to invite the viewer to discover the story embedded within. My expressive painterly brush marks hold the movement, humour, and personality of the subjects themselves. Combining fantasy with the mundane, everyday moments sit comfortably alongside the fantastical. Through a playful lens, I aim to reveal character, delight, whimsy, and emotional warmth – capturing the small narratives that shape how we see the world.
