Nature Gallery

I recreate snapshots of nature through layered textiles, mixed media, and stitching. By incorporating mono-printing and appliqué, I build shapes on the surface that serve as records of time, touch, and transformation. Using mono-prints from seaweed, grasses, lavender, and leaves, I embed traces of lived experience, echoing the way personal history accumulates in quiet layers. The recurring shapes of seed pods, buds, and curling stems symbolize cycles of growth, decay, and renewal.
I aim to present nature from memory, in a gestural, impressionistic way, as if time has softened and altered the details I once observed. Through my work, the viewer is reminded of the quiet joy and wonder that nature provides.
